Santhosh Wilson is the Founder and CEO of FinTags, a UK-based specialist in iXBRL tagging, XBRL and ESEF reporting, and Corporation Tax (CT600) filing. FinTags is an HMRC-recognised iXBRL solutions provider and an authorised filing agent for HMRC and Companies House.
Santhosh is one of the early experts in the field. He developed the solution used to generate one of the world's earliest iXBRL reports submitted to HMRC, and the teams he leads have built XBRL solutions for reporting regimes including the SEC, COREP and Solvency II.
The name FinTags reflects his focus: tagging financial data so statements become interactive, analysable information. Trained in project management at IIM Calcutta, he built the company on certified processes, strong data security and a customer-first culture, serving accounting firms, companies and charities from its London headquarters.

Clients send accounts in Word, Excel or PDF. FinTags tags them to the correct taxonomy, validates them and supports them through to successful filing, end to end.
Statutory accounts and tax computations tagged to FRS 101, FRS 102, IFRS and micro-entity taxonomies.
Company Tax Returns prepared and transmitted as an authorised agent, with amendments at no extra cost.
Accounts prepared and filed with Companies House, including for new and dormant companies.
Annual financial reports in xHTML and iXBRL for listed companies filing with UK and EU regulators.
Since 1 April 2026, companies can no longer file Company Tax Returns through HMRC's free CATO service. FinTags tags accounts, prepares the CT600 and files with HMRC as the client's authorised agent.
